Power yoga "demands your attention," says instructor Rodney Yee. He leads a challenging, constantly progressing series of poses, one flowing into the next, integrating breath, movement, tension, and relaxation. The poses include Sun Salutation, standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, and arm balances. The first poses are fairly easy, and with each repetition of the series, Yee adds on more difficult movements, extending the series without pausing. You're encouraged to do as much of the series that fits your level, up to the entire 65-minute workout if you're an experienced yoga practitioner. Although you can begin at any level, some familiarity with yoga is recommended. The Hawaiian setting is gorgeous and inspiring. This is an excellent yoga workout that you can grow with, adding on more as you get stronger. --Joan Price

Comment: Rodney Yee is by far my favorite for all yoga instructors and he delivers in this DVD. I'm an intermediate level and this works great for me especially if I haven't practicted in a bit. It moves quickly but with great fluidity. Plus the scenery and music is splendid.

Comment: Great yoga workout. A good amount of time spent in downward dog pose so if you don't like blood rushing to your head, don't get it. Otherwise, great workout.

Summary: Rodney Yee is truly a yoga genius...
Comment: I can not do all of this video as of yet...but even just the first 20 minutes challenge me and make me sweat... I am still about 30 pounds overweight and I need to develop more strength. This video is great for helping me lose weight and build strength. I like the pace of this video...not too fast...not too slow. I have many DVDs by Rodney Yee and I will continue to purchase his videos.
